I'm fine

Não sei se já referi aqui, mas um dos meus filmes preferidos é o "The Thomas Crown Affair".

A Catherine Banning (interpretada pela Rene Russo) é uma das minhas personagens femininas preferidas do cinema, o género de mulher que eu gostava de ser quando fosse crescida!

Esta cena é bastante elucidativa do carácter dela (mais ou menos assim):

[Catherine is clearly upset]

Detective Michael McCann: Are you okay?

Catherine Banning: Yeah. I'm fine.

Detective Michael McCann: You know I was "fine" once. My girlfriend went out one night and came back... married. I told everyone that I didn't care, and then I fucked five women in three days, flipped my car on an on-ramp, beat a suspect unconscious, got suspended... but I was "fine".

Catherine Banning: This conversations has a point?

P.S: I'm fine...that's just the way it is. And nothing can change the truth!
